Happy Wednesday! Today is the second Wednesday of September which means it’s time for another edition of the amazing #InspireMyCreativity link up! As an added bonus to all of the GREAT projects you can see today, I’m also giving you a FREE fall printable to use in your own decor.
I’ve been a little MIA lately, thanks to a crazy busy end-of-summer. I have been able to make it on road trips to both Cincinnati, OH and Baltimore, MD over the last month and we have our biggest event of the year coming up next weekend at work so things have been C-R-A-Z-Y at work. Even so, I scrambled to get this post together last minute after some dialysis complications with Sean (see here for a bit of back story) that had us in the ER Friday night, plus another trip to London for additional testing Monday that ended with a 12+ hour wait in the ER. Cross your fingers that things start going smoothly again soon, or even better, that he gets a new kidney ASAP!

Now, onto the FUN stuff! This month’s #InspireMyCreativity theme is FALL! While I’m not a huge fan of the PSL (I know, right??) and I much prefer the warm summer days to cool fall nights… I am a MAJOR lover of the beautiful fall colours. When everything changes from green to beautiful shades of red, yellow and orange… it *almost* makes up for the cooler weather that comes with it.
This summer, our main focus has been on getting the basement in a useable state after a flood a few years ago. We finally got a sump pump installed in August and it’s been so nice to not have to worry about more rain water coming into the basement with all of the rain we’ve been getting this summer. We’re also getting a new roof this fall, which is a very expensive but very necessary project- which means there’s not as much in the budget for decorating.
Lucky for me, I LOVE cheap + easy DIY decor. It’s actually my favourite kind of decor – pair that with my graphic design background, and you get someone who loves to design some seasonal printables to switch up decor on a dime. Or, 4 dimes, which is the cost of getting something printed at staples..unless you can sneak some printing in at work ;). Today, I’m going to share with you this FREE printable as a part of the #InspireMyCreativity link up. After you download, be sure to check out all of the other AMAZING projects from my co-hosts.
This is just a mock up, but I will be following this tutorial to make some DIY hanging poster bars. I’ve made some before using wooden dowels and would love to try some with a more square look.
Here is the free fall printable, ready for you to download + print!
All files are an 8×10, 300DPI print-ready file. All you have to do is print either on your home printer or at a local print shop. Make sure you have it set to print at 100% for correct sizing!
Please note that this file is for personal use only and is not to be sold or redistributed in any way.
Don’t forget to check out each of the co-hosts projects! My favourite part of this link party is getting to see all the amazingly creative projects these ladies come up with, as there is such a variety of styles and ideas floating around our little group.
